Starting a business in Cherry Creek?

Curious what people think. Household incomes average around $147,618 in Cherry Creek. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Cherry Creek? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is solid in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in East. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in construction. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 9 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely improving and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (Springfield) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. school system is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
