Cherry Hills Village in the winter -how bad?

Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $250,001 in Cherry Hills Village. It's a a small town city with about 6,366 people. The median home value here is around $2,000,001, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Cherry Hills Village sits at 44.6 per 100K. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thoughts? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 11 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Bought a house here in 2020 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
