Cherry Valley quality of life -am I missing something?

Hey everyone, I'm single, late 40s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Cherry Valley sits at 417.0 per 100K. Median household income is $78,125, which feels about average for the area. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What would you do? The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I'm a contractor and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is improving and there's always something going on.

Bought a house here in 2017 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
