Commute times in Cheyenne -how bad?

Hey folks, I work in legal and Crime rate is something to consider -Cheyenne sits at 341.1 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,035 for rent here. Household incomes average around $77,176 in Cheyenne. The median home value here is around $311,200, which seems about average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thoughts? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Highland. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in government. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
