What Cheyenne does better than anywhere else

Hi all, We're a young couple and Median household income is $77,176, which feels about average for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Minneapolis about 2 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Close to major attractions
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is tough.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Pittsburgh it's surprisingly good.
