Best and worst neighborhoods in Chicago Heights
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm single, late 50s, and Rent is about $1,035/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Chicago Heights sits at 773.6 per 100K. Median household income is $57,479, which feels about average for the area. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
Pros:

- Walkable downtown

- Traffic can be terrible
- Sprawl everywhere
- Homelessness issues downtown
