Anyone else love living in Chicago?

Hi all, I'm retired and It's a a major city city with about 2.7M people. With a population of 2.7M, Chicago is a major city. Household incomes average around $75,134 in Chicago. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
