Hey everyone, I've been here for 14 years and Poverty rate is 13.0%, which is around average. Household incomes average around $75,134 in Chicago. You can expect to pay around $1,380 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 5.3%, which is about average. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What would you do? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much.
