Cheapest neighborhoods in Chicago Ridge?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from New York and The median home value here is around $217,800, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 13.9%, which is around average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
