Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Chicopee sits at 614.9 per 100K. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. It's a a smaller city city with about 55,213 people. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
