I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Chillicothe sits at 319.6 per 100K. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. It's a a small town city with about 9,129 people. Homes are going for about $119,900 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots? The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The school system scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Definitely worth checking out..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
