Moving to Chillum with kids -good idea?

Longtime lurker here, Rent is about $1,733/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $383,900 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is better than expected in most areas.
