Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 8.4%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,733/month for a decent place. With a population of 35,163, Chillum is a smaller city. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
