Moved here 9 years ago for work. Chino Hills has a solid community for young professionals. Income levels are solid here — median is around $122,600. Rent runs about $2,750/month for a typical apartment. The social scene is hit or miss depending on the area. Would I recommend it? Depends on what you value..

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!

I work in education and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 5 months.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Coming from LA, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are cheaper.

I've lived in Pine Grove for 4 years and it's still one of the best decisions I made.

Been here 20 years. The city has changed a lot but overall for the better.

As someone who moved here from Miami, I can confirm most of this. The job opportunities surprised me the most.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Maple Heights and Pine Grove are perfectly safe.

Rent tip: look for places in October-November. Prices drop and there's more availability.

Respectfully disagree about the cost of living assessment. In my experience, it really depends on your lifestyle.

The food scene here is seriously underrated. So many great restaurants.

Don't sleep on Southside. It's up and coming and still affordable.
