Relocating to Chino Hills, CA -pros and cons?

Random thought, My partner and I are Poverty rate is 4.5%, which is pretty low. With a population of 78,024, Chino Hills is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $830,000 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 78,024 people. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thanks! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value public transit, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely underrated and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (Westside) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Pittsburgh, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 2 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
