What's it really like living in Chino Hills?

Hey, Crime rate is something to consider -Chino Hills sits at 112.3 per 100K. Homes are going for about $830,000 on average. Median household income is $122,600, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 78,024, Chino Hills is a smaller city. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The food scene is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've lived in Old Town for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- The cultural scene scene is solid

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value pet-friendliness, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely improving and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. My neighborhood (Lakewood) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Tampa, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Road conditions need improvement.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.
