Working remotely from Chino Hills

Alright, My family moved here when I was a kid. You can expect to pay around $2,750 for rent here. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a smaller city city with about 78,024 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The cost of living is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely decent and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (East) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Chicago, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
