Worst things about Chino Hills nobody talks about

Rent is about $2,750/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 4.5%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Any advice would be great. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Bought a house here in 2018 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Boston about 15 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is improving.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Good luck with whatever you decide..
