Best hidden gems in Chino Valley

I relocated for work and You can expect to pay around $1,178 for rent here. Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $352,100 on average. Median household income is $59,733, which feels about average for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Is this normal for Chino Valley? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Minneapolis it's hit or miss.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Lots of new development happening
- The pet-friendliness scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
