Job market in Chino Valley for tech?

Hey folks, It's a a small town city with about 13,372 people. You can expect to pay around $1,178 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What do you all think? Looking forward to hearing from you all. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Bought a house here in 2017 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Fairview. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in consulting. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

I'm a data analyst and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.
