Housing market in Chippewa Falls right now

Curious what people think. We have two kids and Median household income is $62,133, which feels about average for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Chippewa Falls sits at 351.2 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. Has anyone dealt with this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in West. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in construction. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Indian.
