Dog-friendly places in Chisholm?

Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 9.4%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Chisholm sits at 123.1 per 100K. The median home value here is around $108,100, which is actually reasonable. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thoughts? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Riverside. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in real estate. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the Downtown side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

I'm a software engineer and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
