Best companies to work for in Choctaw?

Alright, The city has invested a lot in new development. Thanks! The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much competitive but now it's improving.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Houston about 6 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are developing, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 2 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
