Hey, Poverty rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $223,900, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 12,208, Choctaw is a small town. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Low crime in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities

Cons:
- Cold winters
- Rising rent prices
- Few job opportunities in some fields

I've lived in Midtown for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The cost of living scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
