Best kept secrets of Chrisman, IL

So, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Poverty rate is 18.0%, which is higher than I expected. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any advice would be great. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Bought a house here in 2019 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone about the same since then.
