Chula Vista is underrated, change my mind

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 5 months ago and You can expect to pay around $2,122 for rent here. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much stable but now it's better than expected.

I'm a project manager and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is excellent and there's always something going on.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 9 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
