Hi all, I'm originally from Houston and The median home value here is around $697,400, which is pretty steep. Household incomes average around $105,173 in Chula Vista. Homes are going for about $697,400 on average. Rent is about $2,122/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
