Affordable areas near Cibolo?

Hi all, Median household income is $125,230, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $2,008/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Would love some local perspective. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The healthcare is improving compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

I work in legal here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is challenging. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much manageable but now it's hit or miss.

I've lived in Highland for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Close to major attractions
- The food scene scene is decent

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a pharmacist and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.
