I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $125,230 in Cibolo. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Appreciate any input.

I've lived in Sunset for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The nightlife scene is tough
The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Sunset. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in construction. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally average. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: solid. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
