How are the schools in Cibolo?

Been meaning to ask this. I work in logistics and Rent is about $2,008/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Downtown. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in government. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Came here for work and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The community vibe is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Lakewood) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Internet is decent in most areas.
