Hey folks, We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 69--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $125,230 in Cibolo. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I wrong here? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a chef who relocated here from San Francisco about 12 years ago. The main reasons were weather and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Not very walkable outside downtown
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is better than expected.
Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Good luck with whatever you decide..
