How is the nightlife in Cicero?

I'm a remote worker and Median household income is $68,548, which feels about average for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Cicero sits at 317.5 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in East. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Salt Lake City it's better than expected.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Old Town. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in government. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Hope this helps!.
