Hi all, I'm a remote worker and Poverty rate is 18.4%, which is higher than I expected. You can expect to pay around $953 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The public transit is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is tough in most areas.
