Random thought, I relocated for work and Household incomes average around $51,707 in Cincinnati. Poverty rate is 18.4%, which is higher than I expected. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Background: I'm a project manager, 36, moved here 5 years ago from Austin. I've lived in Greenfield and Pine Hills, and traveled to most parts of the metro.
**What I love:**
1. Low crime in most neighborhoods
2. Diverse dining options
3. Lots of family-friendly activities
4. The people are generally underrated - I found my community within the first year
**What I don't love:**
1. Limited public transit options
2. Property taxes are high
3. The cost of living situation is wild and doesn't seem to be improving
**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
