My wife and I are planning to retire in the next few years. We're considering Citrus Heights because of the weather. Weather is moderate — about 61F average.
Cost of living looks a bit high but manageable. How's the healthcare situation? Any retiree communities?

If you can afford it, Old Town is the best place to live. Period.

Check out the Westside area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

My kids love it here. So many parks and activities. The local food is incredible.
