Working remotely from Citrus Heights — my experience

I've been working remotely from Citrus Heights for 11 years now. Here's my take:

The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.

Cost of living: a bit high but manageable
Internet: Decent, getting better with new providers
Coworking spaces: Limited but the library works in a pinch

If you're looking for a place to WFH, Citrus Heights is a solid choice.

I'd add that healthcare options are better than most cities this size. Otherwise spot on!

Respectfully disagree about the safety concerns. In my experience, there are good opportunities if you network.

My kids love it here. So many parks and activities. People are super nice.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Downtown. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Coming from Denver, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are about the same.
