Citrus Park is underrated, change my mind

Random thought, Born and raised here. It's a a smaller city city with about 28,163 people. Poverty rate is 9.1%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Would love some local perspective. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 3 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into running, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.
