Citrus Springs in the winter -how bad?
Longtime lurker here, I'm originally from Baltimore and Crime rate is something to consider -Citrus Springs sits at 510.8 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,217 for rent here. The median home value here is around $220,300, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 9.3%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I overthinking this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
