Moving to Clairton for work -advice?

Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $932/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $59,100, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $59,100 on average. With a population of 6,105, Clairton is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Clairton sits at 350.2 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The weather is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
