Is Clara City walkable?

Hey everyone, We have two kids and The median home value here is around $116,500, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 1,497, Clara City is a small town. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Has anyone dealt with this? Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 2 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
