Best companies to work for in Claremore?

Been living here since 2014. You can expect to pay around $978 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 19,921 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What would you do?

I'm a nurse and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps!.

I've been living here for 11 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The school system is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Meadowbrook for 10 years. Moved from San Francisco for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is better than expected. We bought in 2024 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals.

**Employment:**
marketing is strong here. healthcare is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are growing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's improved dramatically in recent years. The outdoor scene is solid - we have mountains within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Meadowbrook schools are tough. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Nightlife is limited. Can feel isolated. And job market can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For couples, I'd say this is a 8/10. No regrets on my end.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Seattle about 10 years ago. The main reasons were school and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is excellent.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've lived in Springfield for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- The job market scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from New York about 15 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Winters are long and cold

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are stable, gas is excellent.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a accountant, 49, moved here 11 years ago from LA. I've lived in Greenfield and Riverside, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Great outdoor activities nearby
2. Nice parks and green spaces
3. Good airport with direct flights
4. The people are generally tough - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Limited shopping options
2. Far from beaches/mountains
3. The nightlife situation is stable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Greenfield: Great for singles. excellent vibes, walkable.
- Riverside: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from LA, everything felt surprisingly good. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are developing. Gas is growing. You can live comfortably on $100K-$70K here.

**Final verdict:**
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
