Planning a move to Clark -neighborhoods?

Hey everyone, Average temperature is around 43--F, so bundle up in winter. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I overthinking this? Thanks! The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Westside. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in engineering. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Eastside. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in legal. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Hope this helps!.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Baltimore it's hit or miss.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value weather, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely excellent and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Westside) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. public transit is completely different here. And Not a lot of cultural diversity.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is dating scene. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The housing market is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..
