How is the nightlife in Clarksburg?

First post here. Rent is about $2,298/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $646,200 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Clarksburg sits at 429.7 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The pet-friendliness is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Came here for family and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor recreation is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'm a HR manager and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.
