What I wish I knew before living in Clarksburg

Anyone else feel this way? Homes are going for about $646,200 on average. Poverty rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Worth the trade-offs? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Used to live on the Westside side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

Bought a house here in 2023 and I have mixed feelings honestly. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
