Relocating to Clarksburg, WV -pros and cons?

So, I'm a college student here and Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Median household income is $46,859, which feels on the lower side for the area. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Highland. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in tech. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
