Is Clarksdale getting better or worse?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -Clarksdale sits at 362.1 per 100K. With a population of 14,423, Clarksdale is a small town. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.
Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Easy commute
- Plenty of shopping options
- Active local events
Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Limited public transit
- Limited cultural events
