Is Clarkson good for remote workers?

Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $28,393 in Clarkson. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Anyone in a similar situation? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Oak Park. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
