Is Clarkston good for remote workers?

OK so Just moved here 17 months ago and Rent is about $1,355/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $46,495 in Clarkston. Crime rate is something to consider -Clarkston sits at 568.5 per 100K. Poverty rate is 26.7%, which is higher than I expected. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. TIA! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I work in engineering here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is solid. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
