Clarkston Heights-Vineland in the winter -how bad?

Anyone else feel this way? Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 7,144, Clarkston Heights-Vineland is a small town. The median home value here is around $342,700, which seems about average. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What do you all think? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 13 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great craft beer places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.
