Anyone else feel this way? I relocated for work and The median home value here is around $799,200, which is pretty steep. With a population of 17,282, Clayton is a small town. Median household income is $128,898, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
